About the event

This is a Private Class. Click here if you are interested in booking or joining a class.

Join us for some food, fellowship, fermentation and fun! In this class you will get to sample and taste a variety of fermented foods and drinks. We will take a look at gut health and how it relates to overall health. You will learn about fermentation and the benefits, the history of bread, the benefits of real sourdough and the process of making a loaf. We will discuss different types of grains and flour you can use for bread making and the benefits of each one. And because bread baking can seem overwhelming, we will also look at a sample baking schedule and discuss how you can fit it into your life. 

You will get to make your own dough ball to take home, rise and bake. You will also take home your own mature heirloom sourdough starter to keep on baking! Please bring a large bowl and an apron with you to class.
